* Harem includes a loli, tsundere, kuu/danderes and a male sidekick...
* Both series has a little bit of action...and comedy...
* Catchy OP/ED's...
Both have similar scenario, where a some supernatural singularity has manifest itself, in most of the populace, and where a few highschoolers have suddenly acquired some form of supernatural abilities. The differences were, in Inubato, the main cast were kept out of the main battle involving their own kind, while the main cast in Phantom World, the main cast were actively involved with the action, that involves supernatural entities that were wreaking mayhem around town.

- One male main character in a group surrounded by girls.
- Cute elementary school girl always bringing her favorite doll, making friend with high schoolers.
Similar themes, different characters, but both offer the picture of select school students with supernatural abilities of some sort in the "normal world".
