+ Full of funny and partially romantic moments
+ Both are comedies
Overall the characters in both animes are very similar; as is the environment. The only major difference is that in this anime there are no magicians or any supernatural aspects. However to anyone who has watched Trinity Seven, Shomin Sample will be very enjoyable and worthwhile experience.

Stereotypical harem anime.
Simple-minded male MC goes to a new school. Covered.
Buncha girls brainlessly love male MC (via all kinds of dere types). Sorted.
Every ecchi cliches ever. Done.
They both really nail everything generically. By no means bad. But just generic.
Would advise you to just pick a girl and aimlessly root for them. Don't get hopes up for anything crazy too.
For any kuudere lovers, yes, both have them, but not exactly used well.
