If you were disappointed as to how the ending played out for Fena, you most definitely should check out Akayona, not only does it shows how Yona's grown throughout the season, it also develops the side characters much better than Fena. To be brief, if you liked the idea of Fena as a damsel in distress growing out of it and affecting people around her, check out Yona.
Strong FL and ML, side characters that you just want to adore. Action, romance. The best successor to Yona of The Dawn period.

Both of them have a strong female lead in a journey searching for her destiny.. both have fun characters , amazing fight scenes and adventure theme .. if you watched yona of the dawn and get to the first episodes of fena you will get kinda similar vibes.

This is a spiritual successor to Akatsuki no Yona. So for those wanting a second season this is about as close as you can get to it. The main protagonist is a girl who isn't to strong and needs to rely on her friends and is going on a quest that is related to their late father
