Rokka no Yuusha

Both animes are set in a more primitive past. While the setting of Akatsuki no Yona seems more Japanese/Korean and that of Rokka no Yuusha is more European, they both are a story of survival and adventure from the eyes of someone that was not viewed as possible a possible hero/heroine beforehand. They both have an interesting group of friends to help them along in their struggles.
-both main characters have red hair
-both involve a select group of people chosen to protect something
-both revolves around a journey to meet up with the other chosen ones
The main difference is that the chosen ones in Akatsuki are meant to protect the 'prince' (Yona), while in Rokka no Yuusha, they are chosen to save the world - defeat the Demon God. Both focus on action and adventure and they have very similar fantasy vibes and interesting characters.

I found that watching both anime around the same time was more exciting, mainly because both anime deal with the main character fulfilling their challenging journies. Although each story is different, it was very interesting to watch them both back to back. I like the fact that they are both filled with action, adventure, and fantasy. The characters are unique in both anime; but overall I'd say watching them together will give you a full effect of each anime, showing you two completely different stories within the same genres.
