The two main characters have a very similar relationship dynamic (kind girl with control over a powerful demon after breaking the seal on him). Both shows are also action adventure in a fantasy setting with bits of comedy and serious/emotional moments. I'd say anyone drawn to these aspects and likes one should give the other a shot, though "Bastard!!" is certainly less appropriate than InuYasha due to nudity and darker themes.

Both anime have a similar character dynamic: Dark Schneider with Yoko and Inuyasha with Kagome.
Both Dark Schneider and Inuyasha have white hair and have attitude problems.
They're both in love with the main girl who has some sort of power or control over them so there are a lot of familiar situations.
Both series take place in a world where magic and demons exist.
Both stories are fairly serious but also feature a lot of comedy.
The biggest difference between Bastard!! and InuYasha is that Bastard!! has more ecchi or vulgar elements compared to InuYasha which has almost none so be careful about that.
