Golden Boy and Ichigo 100% are both ecchi anime, in which the male protagonist has an abundance of women to choose from. The shows revolve around the painfully embarassing and over-the-top comedic interactions between the characters. Obviously, the romantic feelings that the main character develops for them play an important role in the story too. Kintarou and Junpei are both nice guys with a big imagination and perverted tendencies. They easily sway the women around them with their kindness. Besides the similarities these anime share in their plot and characters, their soundtracks have a similar retro sound as well.
