School Days, Kuma Miko Recommendations
Don't get fooled! There's more to it than what meets your eyes. At first they might look like your usual cutesy series with the characters in both series following their own typical lives. However that's wrong. They're both seinen, so be sure to expect deep themes. They're both about main characters striving for something minor. Whether it's a girl or a dream they will work hard for it. They realize that they cannot do it alone so they will involve someone who'll be a core part for their future decision. Along the way they will have to make decisions such as if they value their
dreams more or not which instead means that they'll be a sacrifice for the sake of their nearby and loved ones. There's a lot of mental stress for them and they'll be running away from their main objective multiple times. Kuma Miko will play the Slice of Life card for the characters to take a mental break and might even become lazy to the point where they can't move and everyone has to do every minor thing in their stead, which will play a big part in the conclusion. School Days is more harsh and will play with the main characters life and possibly ship his head with bloody thoughts. You'll see an interesting series of mind games, psychological manipulating and high level decision making which accumulates a lot of frustration. You as a viewer will also be mentally impacted and have a lot of unique emotions towards most of the events that occurs. I ended up feeling really terrible while watching these series and they did impact me with questions such as suicide, manipulation and respect towards other people. This included not making girls be your toy or slave. Are these things really okay and how should you treat other people? You'll find it out while watching these two. They both answer the same questions differently. If you had a hard time understanding one of them, the other one might relate to you more.
