Although there are a lot of positive things to say about Another and School Days, if there is one factor that brings them together, it is how silly they are unintentionally. I don't mean to bring the two in a negative light but they can sometimes be a bit ridiculous to the point of comedic level.
Regardless, Another and School Days use students to make a somewhat realistic story in how students would go around messy situations. Another does this with the calamity causing monthly deaths, School Days does this with teenagers who just don't know how to love properly.

Look, if I would’ve watched High School DXD, I’d put that as a recommendation instead because I know stuff about High School DXD. But, I guess I’ll have to go with Another because of all the murder, but School Days disturbed me. Another didn’t. I would’ve also put Dakaichi, but then again, Dakaichi is a yaoi. School Days is a mentally destroying show. Just, if you’ve watched Dakaichi or School Days, I’ll be impressed. Just watch Another before you watch School Days. Bye. ;-;
