Similar fantasy setting anime with even similar plot development. Even the characters are similar and also how they think from battle strategy to there morals. Both anime's are solid and progress through the story.

The MC is both Millitary Genius. Almost every Aspect are the same but there is some DIfferences : -In Madan The MC already an highlord but not Well Known / not very Popular -Magic is one of strong attribute of Madan No Ou To Vanadis While the Magic In Nejimaki Seirei Senki is not a strong attribute of the Anime almost not exist at all. its like just ordinary Soldier Who always bring a cute little Flashlight. -Fan Service is strong with this One.

Both are set in fantasy worlds that are being ravaged by war, with the protagonist being dragged into it against his will. They both show the horrors of war and aren't above killing off established characters, though "Lord Marksman and Vanadis" is overall lighter in tone than "Alderamin on the Sky". Ikta and Tigre are both highly charismatic military geniuses who would prefer to live a peaceful life and are heavily reliant on things that their society degrades (Science for Ikta, Bows for Tigre) while Yatori and Elen are both noblewomen who have undying loyalty to their country and are extremely badass fighters, being able to   read more

Both "Alderamin on the Sky" and "Lord Marksman and Vanadis" pack too much story in too little. Both are echhi-battle themed anime. We've a talented, powerful hero protagonist being aided by an equally powerful female protagonist. In both anime there's the task of protecting Princess too and the protagonist's kingdom is full of vices, corrupt nobles, useless king and scheming elites. However "Alderamin on the Sky" is too hard-core whereas "Lord Marksman and Vanadis" is faithful to its genre theme and somewhat easy on the eyes and mind.👍🏻
