The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Genshiken represent club life where the vast majority of all events take place in a single club-oriented room. Genshiken is more laid back and less serious than The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, but they both have a similar representation of a club member’s daily life. Atmosphere in the club rooms are strikingly similar though the plots are worlds apart.The vibe circle members give in clubs is identical down to some of the characters,both are a fun watch.
