Kuragehime

Both depict the life of Otaku, in Genshiken's case mostly male otaku with a few girls thrown into the mix, in the case of kuragehime it's a community of female otaku.
Both show the life of a group of otaku and how their lack of self confidence gets in their way, but in a comedic fashion.
Much of the humor of Genshiken and Kuragehime is based on their brutally realistic depiction of the otaku lifestyle.
If you enjoyed Kuragehime, you should check out Genshiken. The show follows a group of college students who are members of the Genshiken club, which is dedicated to anime, manga, and other forms of otaku culture. Like Princess Jellyfish, Genshiken explores themes of acceptance, self-discovery, and the challenges of navigating a society that doesn't always understand or appreciate otaku culture.
