both anime have similar gag, school life and often use to cite other anime or film, the main characters are always in absurd situations and most of the characters are crazy! if you enjoy school rumble, seto no hanayome is a good alternative
They both have a quirky approach to comedy, having the over the top emotional expressions, and the most comical voice work for most of the characters in both shows, and taking everyday situations and turning them into outrageous occurances - make for great rom-com fun.

Both of these have just absurd jokes and random parodies thrown in to the mix, as well as both being extremely funny.
Seto no Hanayome and School Rumble shows a cast of funny, charismatic, eccentric and well voiced chacacters. In addition, the nonsense reigns in his simple stories. However, in my opinion, SR is better
I was only a few episodes into Seto no Hanayome and I felt like I was rewatching School Rumble!. Hilariously funny stuff- incredible facial expressions, horribly entertaining situations, and that overall feeling of "This is so stupid, but I can't stop laughing!"
