Both series incorporate the idea of the sky/flying. This is what drew me to both shows.
Both revolve around Air, flying...Altho in Eureka Seven, it's abit different, Well you will be the judge.
There's something regarding extreme sports which draws viewers in, yet both series take the subject to technically new levels which defy current rules. Both series are dark and edgy, yet feature a wide cast of characters for viewers to potentially fall in love with, yet there are also head scratches, not plot holes, but things which leave the viewer wondering what could have been had just one thing gone differently.

It's a good transition either way. Air gear isn't exactly about saving the world but going from boarding to blading makes it easy to get hooked. Both Itsuki and Renton are both aspiring characters who thrive to make it to the top.

Lots nice to look art and character designs and visuals as well as lots of action too and a ya cast as well too.
