Both titles were released in 1987. Both titles are action-packed anime filled with violence, blood, gore and plenty of hellish demonic monsters. As well as similar animation and a similar vibe. They both deal with the main protagonist (Akira Fudo/Devilman and Amano Jaku) fighting other demons that are trying to destroy humanity. However, Urotsukidouji contains graphic scenes of rape and sex while Devilman doesn't. If you like one, you should enjoy the other.

I already wrote in my review that I think Urotsukidouji was inspired by the original Devilman, but in the terms of anime I'm going to recommend this one anyway, simply because of how similar both of the OVAs seem in the terms of both story as well as monster design.
Toshio Maeda seems to be influence by Devilman and it does show in Urotsukidouji. Devilman is not a hentai, but they have the same type of dark and violent tone that you see in older OVAs from the 80's & 90's. These two anime have demonic monsters trying to destroy humanity and a half demon main character trying to project Earth from other demons. Not to mention these two anime have similar types of blood, gore and graphic nudity.
