Although the premise for the romance is different, I think the character driven comedy is pretty similar and all the characters in both shows are very likable and distinct from one another. Gekkan Shoujo isn’t as over the top as Kaguya-sama, but the main female protagonists are top tier when it comes to romcoms and either show is incredibly fun and easy to get into, both only having a single 12 episode season.

Girl likes a guy, they try to make a move and it always leads to comedy. Both are super cute and fun with some great characters.

Both fun romance trope-reversal shows! Similarities:
- one main couple with a romance gimmick
- similar humor style
- charming high schoolers and fun interactions

Both have a romantic comedy feel, I just get a similar vibe from them. Trust me, you'll like this too, the writing in GekkanShoujo Nozaki-Kun at first is kinda odd, but as it continues, you'll grow to love this anime, the specials are great too.

Both are extremely funny and revolve around a couple who are not that smart when it comes to sharing true feelings. Both shows have a cast of loveable characters and you will easily find yourself rooting for the main couple.
INCREDIBLE cast - everyone's interactions with each other remind me of the student council <3 so funny and lighthearted. romance aspect is different but humor is still relatable and funny

They are both fun romantic comedies. Also, they both have memorable, fun characters. Both of them have good side characters in addition to the leads characters. The male protagonists are somewhat similar to each other in that they are both hard-working and a bit dense, though the female protagonists are rather different.
Sakura is a much more "mundane" protagonist than Kaguya. That's not to say they are completely different, though. They both have issues with their feelings of love. Sakura at least acknowledges her feelings for Nozaki right from the start, which Kaguya doesn't.
However, Kaguya-sama has a variant of comedy

Similar school based rom-com, very different characters but similar sort of premise.
both are romantic comedies and somewhat silly to an extant. they're both good too.
If you want to seek a simillar rom-com troll after you watch Nozaki-kun, then Kaguya-sama is the right anime for you. Both of these shows revolves around romantic comedy moments that oftenly get trolled for some weird reasons.
While Nozaki is more like a rom-com mockery (so that's why i called Nozaki-kun a rom-com troll), Kaguya-sama is more like rom-com troll because there are a lot of mind games to spice uo it's rom-com nuance.
To make it simple, Nozaki-kun is a rom-com troll because of parody, meanwhile Kaguya-sama is a rom-com troll because of it's mind games.

It is slightly similar in the comedy aspect and both are funnier in dub (watching in sub is fine too).

Cute romantic moments with interesting characters. Love confession trials taking a role in a fun way.
I have a strong belief that Kaguya-sama exists because of Nozaki-kun (? Check on passing or humor speed.

Both series are really good rom-coms with a strong emphasis on comedy.
Both series have the main couple being unable to get together. In Kaguya-sama it's because they are too stubborn and proud to admit their feelings so they resort to mind games. In Monthly Girls' the thing that keeps all the couples from getting together is their own stupidity and obliviousness.
Their senses of humor are also similar, as are the chaotic character interactions between the groups. The characters are involved in a particular after school activity. In Kaguya-sama, they are in student council. In Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, they work as Nozaki's assistants, drawing manga.
