Your kneejerk reaction will probably be to compare Terror in Resonance to Death Note. And that's fair. The detectives vs. criminal masterminds half of the story is definitely reminiscent of DN.
But there's another half of the story-- centered on a young girl who feels out of place in her everyday life getting involved with two boys who are caught up in a life-changing phenomenon. I thought Lisa's storyline was really reminiscent of Ruka in Children of the Sea.
