Both shows have a similar realistic and contemporary feel in atmosphere and tone to certain extent. They both have characters who are geniuses that use their powers for iniquitous motives. Subete ga F ni Naru however is much more nuanced and has superb writing compared to latter.

A very similar atmosphere and color palate makes drawing similarities easy. Both feature a main character who is considered a genius and that is probably wasting their potential, not to mention they even look similar. Intellectual minds are pit against each other which leads to interesting conflicts on both ends.
Similar world atmosphere, great detail and animation. Both includes a mystery and people who try to solve it, smart main characters

Both animes are made from Noitamina, and they both have a mysterious, realistic feel. They both don't feel like an anime, but rather, a dramatic reality.
As well as this, the realistic art are common in both animes; rather than the characters having bright coloured hair and over-exaggerated eyes, they have 'Japanese' coloured hair (black, brown) and the eyes are not the most important detail.
Both are also very psychological, they both hold characters with an intellectual mind.
Also, the characters look awfully similar! Saikawa does remind me of Nine, and Nishinosono reminds me of Lisa.
Ah, and Nishinosono Moe and Lisa Mishima hold the same

Both stories are pretty suspenseful and have a pretty gloomy atmosphere and also focus on super smart mcs.

I watched Perfect Insider before zankyou no terror and idk they gave me the same vibe and they are both cool and makes your brain go ''what?? no way''
