What the 2 have in common:
They both have the same harem genre, where it involves 1 obnoxious guy and 4 cuties in a club room where for the most part the 2 have nearly the same plot, except for some minor modifications. However one relies on a quasi-supernatural and comedy, while the other has romance, also their were some difference with the character setting but even so, the harem's relationship with the guy is still the same.
both have same otaku type male protagonist who's caring to some extent with a harem setting and of course that touch of romance and comedy with 4 other beauties.
if you like "inou battle" then you are surely gonna Love "Saenai Heroine"

For the most part the two share the same genre, where it is 1 guy who is loco and 4 girls who were simply bearing the guy, cu'z of his obnoxious antics. When it come to the characteristics of the character one would notice the same resemblance however only the plot is different, since Inou Battle relies heavily on random scenarios, while Saenai Heroine has a specific direction.

Inou-Battle and Saekano have very similar character set ups. Both center around 1 male lead with four female leads (i.e. a harem). Furthermore, in both anime, there are a series of episodes that are centered around just one of the female leads. These episodes usually further clarify the relationship among the female lead and the other main characters. The two anime also share a similar premise - that is, a high school setting. Both also touch upon a romantic theme and are humorous in their own unique way.
