Both have a pretty good animation and the characters are similar, also both are really good animes of romance
So we have our sad boy male protag. He meets happy girl protag. However happy girl has a secret and so does sad boy. Their time together saves sad boy from self-loathing. In the end sad boy becomes a better person and we all feel fulfilled as the show comes to a close.
