Kanon and Cardcaptor Sakura are both slice-of-life anime with some supernatural/magical elements and a female lead with a lot of surprising similarities—said similarities include brown hair, a somewhat eccentric and child-like personality, an unusual sound for a catchphrase, a fear of ghosts, and a deceased mother. There's also a bit of charming romance in both.
