Both anime so far include extremely powerful female protagonists whose powers can only be rivaled by a small amount of people. However, it seems that both main female protagonists also have alternate personalities where they lose their memory of being power beings and as a result become weak and dependent on the male protagonists of both animes.
Also, guys, both anime are ecchi types.
Female leads with amnesia/multiple personalities. One side is all powerful, the other innocent/gentle/clueless/weak. Ecchi, etc.

Although the stories are nothing alike, the main character in each are almost identical.
-In Elfen Lied, the two forms of the main character are Nyu and Lucy. While Nyu seems like an innocent pet, Lucy is violent and sometimes insane.
-In Hyakka Ryouran, the two forms of the main character keep the same name yet their personalities differ. Yet again, there is the innocent form of Juubei while her other form can be violent and unforgiving.
