Narrative that shitches between viewpoints of multiple characters to build up pieces of puzzles that get put together in the finale.
The narrative structure is similar and both have really great story.If you like multiple linear narrative story, you should watch both anime.

Various storylines that parallel each other and coincidentally intersect to finally tie everything together. Overall fun, crime filled, and chaotic adventures.
- Wide variety of characters seemingly independent from each other.
- Each characters' story gets somehow intertwined due to one (or two) key character(s).
- Both shows feel like a puzzle which gets solved out as you watch it.

both are mystery thrillers that have tons of characters that seemingly have no connection but throughout the story the characters start to colide and the story wraps up at the very end.

Both starts with mysteries and focuses on many characters (Baccano focuses on all characters, Odd taxi focuses on Odokawa, but all characters also get some spotlights as well)
Both are dialogue heavy based anime, and both endings are perfect.
Both series center around the premise of a city on which a few special residents are all connected to one big mystery, and nearby everything they do can be considered important to solve it. Both also tend to have a change of light, usually trying to be both serious and funny at times. Baccano has humans, but Odd Taxi has anthro-animals
More people have recommended durarara, and ig ppl also recommended that for baccano. Odd taxi has a complex story, much like baccano, but with less characters and shifting perspectives. What really makes this better is that baccano characters were next to one-dimensional. The characters here are given time to develop, which means less story and action packed in, but i think it's impossible to match the amount of story each episode of baccano was given.
