Time. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Mirai both follow individuals who go through the power of time. Through this, these MCs understand how their selfish wants aren't don't give the best outcome to a particular situation.
TokiKake follows energetic Makoto through a series of time leaps to make sure things go her way. Mirai follows a covetous Kun trying to understand his sister and his family through time travel.
Both are good anime movies about how a naive MC ends up learning from some fantastical force. Both also have the same director Mamoru Hosoda.
