Both series are psychological thrillers that take place in settings where the citizen populations are split into two groups, with one being the predatorial side that, due to their instincts (and for pleasure for the more malevolent individuals), commonly eats the flesh and meat of the other, as well as being stories that focus on one central protagonist who seeks to come to terms with their own identity and where they truly stand between and among each societal group, while also fighting for the freedom and coexistence of said groups.
