Tokyo Ghoul, Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou Recommendations
I made an account just to make this recommendation because I don't really see it recommended a lot but these 2 anime are pretty similar so here we go.
Similarities
**Both MC are teenagers who start off very weak. (Kaneki barley knowing how to fight/mentally scared because he is a ghoul. And Hajime with the worst abilities in the class/ also bad at fighting.)
**Both MC start off with black hair, after a lot of pain get white hair. (This doesn't matter much to the story but I know that some people love physical appearance changes when the MC gets stronger.
**Both MC have to overcome the odds,
with a "kill or be killed" situation. (Kaneki with the Jason torture scene, and Hajime with the first episode where he is betrayed, and has to kill and eat the monsters.)
**Both MC turn out to be OP with the "badass' attitude, a complete change from how they where in the beginning of the show. (Kaneki becoming one of the most OP ghouls in the show, and Hajime arguably becoming the most OP in the whole show.)
**Both MC have girls who like them. (More in Arifureta then in Tokyo Ghoul.
Differences
**Tokyo Ghoul definitely has a more "serious" vibe to the show. Kaneki has A LOT more hardships to overcome then Hajime.
**Arifureta has more "fan service" if you get what I am saying. Arifureta has many girls with (how can I put this..) just more cleavage, and a few dirty lines.
**Hajime has a few girls fight with him, whereas we see Kaneki pretty much taking everything on his own.
**At the time of writing this, Tokyo Ghoul Anime, and the Manga are finished. Arifureta Anime is finished with season one, and thats it so far. What I am saying is Tokyo Ghoul has a lot more episodes of anime than Arifureta. Although thats the case, if you like to read, Arifureta has a few light novels out, and a bunch of manga out.
OVERALL, if you watched Tokyo Ghoul and liked how Kaneki went from a weak little kid, to one of the most OP ghouls in the whole show. You will definitely like Arifureta as Hajime and Kaneki share a BUNCH of similarities.
