Both of these series deal with the issue of a character, who both does not really belong in the system of the other characters, think that the current way things work is not really the way it's supposed to be. Both also have creatures that are not human who have to deal with humans and their ways. They are dark series that both make you think, often dropping some quotes that have you sit there and think for quite a while.

They both give off a creepy vibe and there's lots of death. Some gore but also deep background stories about the characters.

Side by side. Tokyo Ghoul and Death Parade use a rather interesting base for their respective worlds, one on a foundation build upon of the people by your side, or at least very close to you. Are they to trust? To distrust?
Tokyo Ghoul has Kaneki in his sudden predicament of trying to live with the downside of being a ghoul. DP has random humans participate in games against each other.
Both are good mystery psychological anime where characters go to extreme lengths in the name of protecting themselves.
