Both are about a tough kid who learns he has special magical powers and takes on ever-stronger enemies with the help of friends, and everyone uses all sorts of power-ups, skills and magic to overcome obstacles. Both shows feature tournaments, as well as normal fights, and both characters have a signature move where they shoot a blue beam of spirit energy from their hand.
Both are full of otherworldly adventures, lots of fighting, and lovable characters that grow on you more and more with time.
These are both considered classics and are shonen action shows that follow a group of young exceptional people on an extraordinary adventure. Both shows have fantastic world building and character designs set in vast worlds with super natural and martial arts aspects.

Both have a very similar atmosphere, with similar comedy, and a super-powered team of characters going on various otherworldly adventures. Both are known for their iconic, eccentric protagonist, ballistic tournament story arcs, and draw heavy influences from the history of Martial Arts and mythology (more so Chinese for Dragon Ball, more so Buddhist for Yuu Yuu Hakushou).
If you love surprises, comedy between characters that test their potential, and the general atmosphere of both shows being incredibly similar, then feel free to watch these classic, influential anime.

Both heavily revolve around tournaments, and groups of people training for the tournament. Often the main protagonist gets the duty to save the planet. Both shows have a really similar worldbuild, having various aberrations roam around causing problems.
The feeling is the same... They're both really cool old anime, with a tournament arc...

Both are oldschool and classic battleshonen animes with similar main protagonist , big tournaments arcs and emotional fights
Like comedy and hard breaking fight scenes with the 90's feel? then here you go, one of the most funniest yet hardest sh*t I've seen in my life. If you like the chemistry between the characters of YuYuHakusho then you will enjoy it even more as all the characters feel like they are your own siblings but not actual characters. Lastly, the adventure. No words could explain it.
