Two factions fighting each other, while showing the point of view of each side and their backstories.
Lots of brutal fights and deaths.
While Akame ga Kill is overall better in my opinion, Ragna Crimson is similar and enjoyable as well.
Watching through Ragna Crimson really reminded me of Akame Ga Kill. Two opposing factions battling it out with high stakes for survival. Both series have a character which carries the anime "Crimson" in Rangna Crimson and "Esdeath" in Akame ga Kill. Akame ga Kill though has better world building, action scenes and character development in my opinion. However, if you like one your sure to like the other.
