Well, the aura of competition and the amazing abilities of the main character seem to be the same. The progression in revealing the character and skills of the main character seems to be the same, as well. The main differences are that One Outs is much more adult in content and tone, and we're dealing with more of a team sport since it's about baseball rather than tennis. The characters in One Outs are much more adult-looking as well, but I believe some people (OK, I mean women especially) can definitely find something to feast their eyes on! In addition there's

the main charcters have the same personality.. they're smart, arrogant, very good at tennis/baseball and they enjoy playing strong opponents... plus the matches they play have a good tension, they get to meet unique players in each of their matches.... uhmm.. there's quite a few psychological stuff in POF and but its mostly on One Outs... they're pretty good shows =)
