- both are romance/school/ drama
- the characters personalities are quite similar
About a young girl learning how to deal with friendship and with her own romantic emotions as they answer the question of "what would you do if the person you like likes someone else?"
Aside from that, other similarities are within their setting, character dynamics, and the atmosphere that it can give. As for my opinion, I had the same emotion on both, so that can also count as a similarity.

Both are shoujo/school/romance anime by the same mangaka so the artsyle, characters, pacing and setting are very similar.
You could also call both stories the very embodiments of pure "vanilla" shoujo, so if you like it you've found yourself the perfect mangaka for that.
