Similar story with similar male leads, really lovely female leads (though I like Erika just a bit more), great art and wonderful soundtracks (Ookami shoujo just has a nice piano theme and ambiance but Ao Haru Ride's entire soundtrack is utterly magical).
Ao Haru Ride is basically Ookami Shoujo but with a less Sado-masochistic couple and nicer soundtrack. Personally I prefer Ookami Shoujo though, but both are nice.
Also, Ookami Shoujo has better ending.

Ao Haru Ride is a bit more slow placed than Wolf girl and Black Prince, Ao Haru Ride focuses more on friendship building than romance for the most part. Wolf girl and Black Prince is also well laced with comedy so it gives it an added spice from the typical Shoujo anime.

These are both Shoujo anime that feature a distant and crass male lead with a tragic familial backstory and an extremely energetic, persistent, and stubborn female lead that will stop at nothing to win the heart of their loved one. Ookami Shoujo is more comedy focused, and the male protagonist is particularly cruel towards the female protagonist but warms up as the series progresses. Ao Haru Ride focuses more on friendship and rebuilding what has been lost to time, in terms of emotions and relationships, and not so much romance. If you're a fan of one, you will almost definitely like the other.
They are both shoujo's with very colorful characters in them along with them being in a high school setting. Also both main character's are trying to impress the people they consider friends at the beginning by lying about themselves, only to develop more as a person as the story continues.

Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji is one of your typical shoujo anime just like Ao Haru Ride. They have different stories, but the both are the lovely buildup of the main couples and seeing their love grow stronger by passing obstacles together.
Similarities between Ao Haru Ride and Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji:

Both the animes are shoujo romcoms that take place in a high school setting. The main heroines are somewhat typical girls who are trying to belong somewhere (to some group of friends), while the male protagonists are somewhat twisted personality-wise.
Erika(Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji) and Futaba(Ao Haru Ride) have something in common, more than the fact that apparently they like to make lies, and is that they end up learning to love their partners. Nowadays people tend to fall in love instantly, but these girls took their time to learn how to love these cold guys, but who are we to judge? :)
erika from ookami shoujo is similar to futaba from ao haru ride escpecially yhe part where both of them want to become a part of the crowd even if that meant making fake friends which seems realistic cuz one wants to be a loner right? personally i like ao haru ride better especially when it comes to the ML....although kyouya from ookami might not seem very nice he gets better....i really hated kyouya at the start but im glad i didnt drop it..hope you like it too(・ω<)
