Both series have good ships, both couples start getting close in a similar fashion. The only difference is that Horimiya, the ship sets sail much earlier in comparison to Clannad, and ofc their stories are not exactly the same.
These are good series if you're looking for a romance, slice of life that doesnt unnecessarily play around and tease you for no reason.
