Mashiro-iro Symphony: The Color of Lovers

The little sister of the main character from Mashiroiro is similar to Furukawa Nagisa from Clannad. They both appears to be weak but works hard and are very resilient, not to mention cute.
The original soundtracks from both the series are very alike.
The atmosphere at the school is quite the same too.
Both are originated from Visual Novel.
The calm and smooth going plot of both anime are very appealing to watch.

just trust me they will both make you cry like absolute babies its immensely sad and has its comedy bits as well as some weird moments

Both have a non perverted male lead with a harem who ends up picking one girl who is the leader of a club the male lead and the rest of his harem helped establish. In both the girl that the male lead picks is older than him and likes some sort of circular animal/creature (Pannya/Dango).
OK, with all the facts out of the way i'll just say that I felt as though I was watching Clannad but with more ecchi and less Sunohara whenn watching Mashiro-iro. I've always gone to romance anime hoping for them to be as good as the second one I watched
