Both shows have similiar atmosphere: post-apocalyptic, yet warm and peaceful.
Both are an interesting mixture of cute slice-of-life *and* a good story with plot, journey and destination.
In the past of the world dwells something mysterious, and we recieve clues through the story.
Both shows praise creativity and labour, be it building bridges and houses in Kemono Friends or saving apple orchards with alchemy in Escha to Logy. Still, both also have enough action.
