Shounen Ai storys about a cute, innocent boy and a more adult counterpart, both contain a strong implementation of family bounds and involve comedy and a tiny bit of drama. While Love Stage!! plays up the comedy part more, Super Lovers goes more for drama. Also, the artstyle is quite similar.

The main similarity is obviously that both series are yaoi/shounen ai. Love Stage!! is more towards the comedy side and Super Lovers is more focus on the dramatic/trauma type but it’s still a pretty funny anime. They both have some sort of brother complex and the main character, Izumi from Love Stage!! and Ren from Super Lovers, that doesn’t know what to do towards the person that loves them because they are guys. Altogether both of them are amazing especially for a fujoshi and a fudanshi.
Really awesome yaoi series! Both are light-hearted but have certain struggles the protagonists must face. Overall both are a must watch for yaoi-lovers!

If you enjoyed Love Stage, then you'll enjoy Super Lovers! I assume you have a love for yaoi or are interested if you are watching Love Stage, so Super Lovers is another great yaoi anime/manga with an adorable couple and a great story! I don't want to spoil the plot, but I 100% recommend Super Lovers!
