They are a comedy with "high school and slice of life" themes.
Both consist of an insecure girl , that likes a boy and does boyish things.
Both main characters are redheads (? Here we have a romcom that revolves around our MC's who falls in love with a guy who doesn't realize/sees them as a potential love interest.
Tomo it's a tomboy and Risa has insecurities about her body, because she is very tall.
As a lover of seiyus's work I have to say that, in one hand we have Rie Takahashi (Tomo) and LoveCom is made with Osaka accent.

Both are romcoms and arent the usual pairings that you would see in a romance anime e.g tall girl short guy and childhood friends tomboy girl who is stronger than the guy. Both are cute and funny in their own ways

The relationship between the two characters is very similar, in the way where it is two friends (male and female) that are always fighting but at the same time get along very well. Both male MC are very dense, and the female is trying to get the male MC to like her. Personally. I think the comedy in lovely complex is better than Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko. but I thoroughly enjoyed these two.
