Akuma no Riddle

Both are female-centric anime that feature a protagonist with a tragic past and shady occupation (Nadie is a bounty hunter, while Tokaku is an assassin) who nevertheless prefer to avoid killing people. In both cases, they find themselves the protector of a mysterious girl who have various people coming after them (Ellis/Haru) and have an informant who gives them cryptic help throughout their ordeal (Blue-Eyes/Kaiba). They also both have fantastic soundtracks and a few of the same voice actors (Blue-Eyes and Koko are both voiced by Clarine Harp, for example).

- Both series has a female protagonist who is good at weapons and/or killing people (El Cazador isn't that much gore as Akuma no Riddle, tho)
- Both series are about an assassin who needs to protect a special person, who is being pursued by differents killers
- Yuri but doesn't cover the whole plot, it's only few details
However, one mayor difference is the fact that El Cazador de la Bruja is a more "open world" anime (Two girls travelling), while Akuma no Riddle is purely based on school. It also isn't a "battle royale" as Akuma no Riddle, but, instead, the plot is based around searching
