Both have main character with surpernatural ability , and both are very enjoyable anime with great and dark storyline too.
There both rather unique animes that have a rather different view of things.

Both anime deals with a similar concept: abnormal human beings and a mysterious area (Hell's Gate/Yggdrasil Tree) that makes a huge impact on the characters' thoughts, actions and decisions.
Mnemosyne is faster-paced and is intended for a more mature audience. DTB has a muchmore mysterious storyline; however both series are full of action.
