Both female leads are aliens who end up falling in love with a boy in earth. Also though Onegai Teacher is a bit more dramatic, both have nice comedy touches into them
This series is also about a boy who has an alien for a girlfriend. It also has a similar set mood in storytelling.

Like in Please Teacher, an ordinary Earth boy and an alien female basically fall in love, but in Please Teacher they had to get married due to circumstance. Also, Narue is only half alien, her mom's an Earthling,
and the Teacher, Miss Mizuho is also half Earthling, and like Narue's dad, was sent to observe the Earth by a galatic federation. Please! Teacher is much more risque than Narue though.
