Outbreak Company and Konosuba are two alternate dimension/fantasy shows with a parody spin on them. While both shows conform to many cliche surrounding the genre, the shows are aware of the cliche used and make fun of them now and then.

Outbreak Company is a comedy/parody of fantasy anime series but with heart.
This anime is genuinely funny and presents a great setting. Which is what if an otaku neet was tasked with spreading his love of anime, video games and manga to a foreign culture. The show strikes an incredible balance between self referential humor, action and heart. It also presents a balanced view of otaku life. Showing both the highs and the lows of it. This is an underrated gem and more people should be sharing this one.

In both Konosuba and Outbreak Company, the main protagonists (being shut-in hikikomoris) end up traveling to a magical fantasy world where they meet various ladies who all have lovable and trope-y personalities. The art styles are similar in that they're both very colorful and bright. Both of the shows sort of make fun of themselves, and are delightful parodies with fun characters and lots of humor!
Outbreak Company and KonoSuba shares the similarity of shut in, NEET main character being send to a fantasy world and both have silly interactions with other characters. There is decent amount of comedy and gags.

Both revolve around a main character that is plunged into a fantasy world.
In this world the main character learns to live in this new environment.
Outbreak Company focuses more on politics while KonoSuba focuses more on adventure.

1.The main character is a NEET who has to leave japan into a new world were people have an old way of life compared to our time and they use magic in their way of life.
2.The main character is always surrounded by female characters
3.The art style is quite similar, vivid color madness
4.The anime focuses more on the comedy and gags
- Both animes are otaku/geek based comedies.
- Both animes make fun of regular tropes of their respective genres while creating good universes around them.
A big fan of a concept where the main guy enters the world of Fantasy?
where kawaii elves, magical girls, goddesses, and knight girls exist? and looking for something that is worth watching? you should try to watch "oubreak company" after watching "konusuba" :D
