Both of these anime are about young people that are suddently infected by human-consuming parasites/viruses. Both anime involve quite a bit of blood shed, questions arising concerning the protagonist's human-status, and some of the strangest characters you will ever see in anime. So, if you liked one, try the other.

Monsters/aliens/ whatever disguised as humans eating other humans.
Difference is, Kiseijuu is actually enjoyable.
Kiseijuu has parasites and pupa has a disease. Main characters both are like monsters but can maintain a human form. The main difference of this anime is that Kiseijuu is about survival and pupa is just pupa. :D I can't really see pupa's anime purpose and the ending... just wtf?
