If you are looking for a similar show about otaku culture, this is it. Whether it's to laugh at the main character's obsession with the hobby or secretly envy the devotion, just having enough "knowledge" to watch her (Kirino/Konata's) actions and understand them makes it a fun experience. However, their paths along this nerdy road are quite different so it's also nice to look at it from the perspective of someone who has the support of most of his friends and family and one who doesn't really have to courage to come out.
