Lucky☆Star

Himouto! Umaru-chan

The main heroines of both series are appalling otakus (the target audience) cleverly disguised as little girls, and the humour is based mostly on anime & video games references. If you liked Lucky Star you'll going to love Himouto, as it's story does not revolve around mundane events like eating chocolate coronets and sometimes even manages to be funny in a way thai is not related to references and overused tropes.
- The same style of comedy
- Otaku Main's Characters
- Many references to otaku culture
- Both very funny
In both an otaku, lazy but good in sports girl, living a normal student life.

Both have a very charismatic and funny protagonist with the same tastes (eating and playing video games) and doing random things in everyday life
Both have a main female MC whose a complete and adorable otaku.
Plenty of awesome references from anime to games for the audience to enjoy.
Both of the female MC's are very lovable.
Umaru hides her otaku habits while Konata openly talks about them to her friends.

These two anime tell about the main character who overdosed on becoming an otaku. All their life, especially at home they will do like playing video games, watching anime, reading manga, etc. also these main characters only have female friends. I really recommend it if u like slice of life genre.
Both female MC are harcore otaku schoolgirls and they like both to have fun with female friends (cast of both is mostly female)
