A series of comedic sketches from everyday life of a group of high-schoolers without any big plot.
It is almost the same except that main characters are high school boys and therefore jokes have different style.
+Both are slice of life comedies.
+School children who are seemingly normal... but not really.
+No plot.
+I swear they're the same thing but gender-flipped.
+Jokes about high-school problems. (Guys have a more perverted sense of humor though)
Yeah anyways. They're really similar. So if you like one, you'll probably like the other.

Lucky Star can be said to be 'The Daily Lives of High School Girls'. Just like Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, it involves a group of High school girls and their interactions with each other as friends
These animes are very similar, only Lucky Star is more revolved around highschool girls, and Daily lives of Highschool Boys is more on boys, as the title suggests. If you like slice of life comedies, then check these out. They have a good pace, and are hilarious to watch.

Just the chill, everyday lives of a close-knit group oh high school friends
Comedies involving a group of friends talking and interacting on a slice of life scenario. The first half of Danshi Koukousei on Nichijou is especially similar to Lucky Star, going on a different direction on the second half, with a larger cast of characters.
Slice of life series that exists not for the plot but for the gags that can bring enjoyment and fun to its viewers. Watch these to laugh like there is no tomorrow, and watch these if you only want to have fun while not caring about the story or anything about its characters.
