Both wanted to form a club and the characters' personalities are pretty much the same.
Manabi Straight= K-ON!
Manami= Yui
Mei=Mio
Momoha=Tsumugi
Mutsuki= Ritsu
Mika=Azusa
The only anime I've seen to come close to capturing K-ON's bittersweet feel. People should watch this underrated gem by Ufotable.
Similarities:
-Both series focus on a group of 5 girls who meet by chance and use a club as an excuse to hang out and eventually become best friends
-Both series capture the bittersweet feeling of growing into adulthood through a high school setting. They have pretty similar endings, though K-ON had more time to build up to the ending
-Both series showcase strong character development through effective visual storytelling and great directing
-Both are bittersweet for a bit but they end with hope. Very heartwarming
