Moribito's plot starts off with a prince wanted by court assassins for being the seed of destruction.
Tempest on the other hand starts with a clear friend and foe distinction, but without headhunts, just personal motivations.
During their courses though, the stories' factions learn more about the foretold destruction. Initial divisions blur as the great threat occupies both equally.
