If you are big into sword fighting anime, this is another great addition for you to watch and trust me it is as good as Claymore. Sword Of The Stranger and Claymore both have a main character whose past is tragic only to end up with a sidekick who is a young boy and has a major role later on. They're both set in a setting (Sword Of The Stranger-Feudal and Claymore-Medieval) with fantasy elements. Both have great sword fights, gore, dialogue, development, and good story.
