Sakamoto desu ga?

Two high-school anime which follow a male student as he endeavours on comical mishaps.
Although Tonari no Seki-kun doesn't follow a perfect student and he seems more quiet and isn't acknowledged by the whole class: Yokoi acknowledges Seki-kun in a similar way that Sakamoto's class see's him.
Both of the anime are episodic, however knowledge of the previous episodes is useful while watching the anime.
The one thing which makes main characters of these shows interesting is their seemingly limitless creativity. This is the main source of humor in both of these shows. Although, Tonari n Seki-kun also relays on additional character, who's reactions and interactions with main character add even more humor.

They are both about a peculiar student in a class, and set in a high-school. Seki is much more reserved than Sakamoto, but overall, they both have a similar sense of humour and are hilarious to Watch. The ambiance also feels familiar.
Both protagonists are exceptionally skilled at what may be considered substandard hobbies. The humor from both series comes from the surprising degree of skill their leads portray in these underrated hobbies.
