Akame ga Kill! and Magi share a lot of similarities, characters' goal is to erase the corrumption and inegalities in the capitol for Akame and in the world for Magi.
Teigu users looks like characters in Magi who possess a Djinn Equipement.
Some ennemies of the main character are people who not really bad like some Jaegers peoples or Kou/Magnostad peoples.
The real bad guy is an horrible person who manipulates peoples in the Shade

Both of these animes are set in a fantasy world where magical powers are used in order to fight. They both involve dealing with a kingdom(or empire) where the corrupted nation needs to be fixed. Also, they show that comrades have such strong bonds between each other like a family would have - rescuing/saving, protecting, sacrificing and dying. Although they have awesome actions scenes, Akame ga Kill! is way more violent as you can see the excessive blood gushing out everywhere, and people being sliced in half and blown to pieces.
