Both MC have kind of a dark past
They both have a large group of friends
These friendship groups feel a lot more natural, to add to the fact that both have multiple romances or at least hint it so it isn't just the main two to focus on. Anyway, they are quite different anime with Golden Time being more drama than TadaKoi's sweet and chill romance. But take what you will from both.
Natural flow with genuine connections. What more do you want?
